And one of my dreams were to become a chess expert so I practice playing chess for at least 9 years which mean that I have been practising chess for 10 000 hours I was really tired but it was all worth it

The Water Project

In Africa they are doing a Water Project,it is because in africa it takes them to walk 3 or 2 miles just to get fresh water and they said if you drink really bad and dirty water then you will get diarrhea and you will get really sick because the water has dirt in it and dirt water is really bad for your lungs.

And Africa is not the only country with dirty water there are many countries like Rajasthan and  
India 
In Samoa and Tonga we are not allowed to drink from the tap because if you do then you will get Danki fever

There are many people out their in different countries.
Everyday they one child dies because of the Polluted water
So we are very lucky to be drinking very clean water,so drink in wisely

Big Friendly Giant

I think the big friendly giant looks like a giant that hasn't showered for year and he is  Humongous  
And smells malodorous.

The Big Friendly giant is a Giant Who Adores eating eggplant
In the movie BFG there is a little girl she was about to go to bed until she heard a big Clamor so then she went to go she on the porch.

Sooner later the Big Friendly Giant saw the little girl and decided to take her so she doesn't tell anyone because if she does they will start hunting for the Giant.

Also in this movie their is a big giant bully and it always come to the friendly giant to take paraphernalia because be scantily has anything and when he came over the little girl had to hide so the giant bully can't see her and she had to be hidden in the eggplant,
And after when the giant the friendly giant went and gave her and big shower

The little girl finally thought that giants are adequate.

She finally thought that giants are like humans but much more tremendous ( some of them)

And at the end the big friendly giant went and returned her back

My Acrostic Peom

What was you find difficult about writing the poem?
The hard thing was that we had to look for a word begging of that letter

What strategies did you use to determine the word/sentence to use?
I went on to word hippo and tried to look for a good word that start with that letter and wrote it down

Where do you think Acrostic poems could be useful?
We can use it at school  or as a game to write it the fast's

Would you suggest Acrostic poems to the younger student?
Yes because it would make it easier
for them to learn and then when they grow up they can write a really good poem

Museum

On the 5th of November me and some other people from the school went to the Museum  to see some beautiful stuff.
My favorite thing of the Museum was when we went inside the earthquake room it was really cool and fun we were in the room for 12 minutes then  we got to go down stairs  and wore some spy costumes

For the  holidays I went to the pools the pools I went to was manurewa pools then I went to the pakuranga pools 

on the next  week we  went to Otara to buy my dress for  white  sunday  then on saturday we went to the nail salon to do my  nails for white sunday 

On white sunday after I performed we went to the restaurant called genghis khan restaurant

Then we came home and the adult we to sleep while me and my cousin was making photos on my mums snapchat

Today we were using an app called Google Earth
We got to see all over the globe and even our home town
We can also see the statue of liberty
The place that I went to go explore was samoa,salelolga,and fusi safata those are the villages in samoa that I grew up in
I also went to go see the statue of Liberty in America in the state of New York

The pet I want to have in the Future is a Baby Panda because they are really cute and I feel like Panda's make
me feel happy and it make's me feel like me and it also make me feel like my inner self

Wood Work

I have chosen to make a photo Frame for my Mum

I think this the best choice because my mum love photo frames,she likes to show off her Pictures from the past

It will be used photo around the in my parent room

For this project I will have to consider making in look really pretty because when my mum looks at it I want her to think "Wow My daughter is a artist"


I used a pencil, a rule,and the wood I am currently using to make a full size working drawing of my photo frame because when I am cutting my wood and I forget how long the it meant to be so then I can just look at my drawing.

I used a ruler to copy the measurement from my drawing into the photo frame.

I marked a square line at 90'o across the photo frame using ruler and a pencil.

I cut off the first piece of wood using backed saw.

I then marked out the photo frame using a tri-square.

I want people to thing that "WOW look at that that photo frame it looks so pretty" 
If people come over then and look at my new design then I'll want then to look at it with pride.

I want this to be used in many place's
So my mum can just take it around to show people or to look in the Mirror when she needs too.

I want to surprise my mum with this mirror by warping it in gift wrap and saying "I got a surprise for you"and when she opens it I want her to be happy of what I made.

All of the tools that I used to make this Mirror/Photo frame was :bench hook,wood chisel,mallet,backed saw,steel ruler,and a tri square.

When I am done with my design then if will look beautiful just like all the other design in this room.

The one thing I would have to change if I were making this design again is to put a lot of effort in to this project and really try my best.

I am really glad that I choose to make this because not only with it put a smile on my mum's face but it will also but a smile on my face

Wood working

This term me and my group were moved to a different room and that room was wood working
for wood working what I desited  to do was something called a photo frame I chose to make a photo frame because I think it is really easy to make and it also can be a mirror at the same time

At tech we made we had made chocolate muffins

1 1-2 c of SRF,1_c of cocoa
2 1_2 c of sugar
2 1_2 c of milk
2 1_2 c of oil
1 egg
mix well and drop
i tbsp of mixture into
the muffins tin
bake 15mins 180c

Chicken roll wrap

In technology what we cooked was something called a chicken roll wrap it was very delicious it was made out of veggies chicken bits something like clear noddles, and i was really happy because I liked what it tasted like.
When I first ate it because I have never ever had a wrap before and I have never tasted anything like it because it is my first time eating a wrap.

For this week on science what we did was sand and salt we had to mix the sand and salt together and add some water with it and after we would have to boil it and get mr Raj's salt back

Roast chicken with Indian sauce

On Wednesday of technology day also our last day of tech we have made something that we have never tasted before and the thing we have made is Roasted chicken with indian sauce it was really yum and i cant wait to go home and make it for my family

On Wednesday all the senors went to technology again and this week we have made chocolate muffins but the thing was that we had other people in the class room as well

All About Me

Talofa lava my name is Adelphi and I am 12 years of age I like to play with my friends and family.

I like to come to school and learn my teachers name is Mr Raj he is a good teacher because when he is happy

he does crazy stuff and it is always funny and my role model is my parents,Mr Raj and Lexi Huch I am proud to be

a Samoan and half Tongan and I am really loud. I have two brother and I am the middle child and the only girl I had

two older sibling but then my mum,dad and aunt told me that they both based away but at least they are in a better

place now.

And the goal I am trying to do is to make my parents proud by trying to become head girl of 2020

On Wednesday we made yummy food as always the name of it is really had to say but it ways really yummy

On Wednesday we were doing cooking again and we made beef soup

some of the year 7 and 8's metal and the rest of the year 7's got to do the best topic, cooking last week we done pancakes with chocolate sauce and the teacher said we did not do that good so we are making pancake again but with ice cream
